OET accepted in Ireland | OET preparation | OET Classes

Nurses and midwives seeking work in the UK and Ireland can now take OET. Nurses who wish to work in Ireland can take an English language test designed for the healthcare experts. The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland have recognized OET formally for overseas trained nurses and midwives to prove their English level for registration in Ireland.
OET is relevant to the healthcare professional as it makes use of the healthcare scenarios making them confident on the day of the test. It has the extra benefit of giving an insight into the language and communication skills the healthcare experts will require in the new workplace and make the candidates equipped with the language skills for getting success at work.
The speaking skills of the nurses will be evaluated through face to face role plays by making use of a nursing scenario with a trained interlocutor who plays the part of a carer.
The speaking and writing tests are different for the 12 healthcare professions we test so the scenarios for the nurses will be different to the scenarios for physiotherapists
OET is recognize by authorities in UK, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. This is an established test used in the registration of overseas trained healthcare professionals.
The globally trained nurses and midwives are required to take the English language test to get registration in order to get C+ in listening and reading and get a Grade B in writing and speaking.
The employers can feel confident that the healthcare professionals who have got the required level in OET for their profession can communicate in an effective manner in the healthcare workplace.
