There are three main English language proficiency
examinations to evaluate the ability of an applicant to speak in English. TOEFLand IELTS are the most common. Pearson is the most important educational
companies in USA and has started its own proficiency examination.
Every exam is a test of English in the universal sense of
that word. IELTS depends on British and Australian English and TOEFL and PTE
Academic has a different American idiom.
The tests claim to provide the results and accept all the 3
exams. IELTS is accepted in Australia and Europe and TOEFL is accepted by MBA
programs in America. The PTE Academic is making headway by being accepted by
MBA programs all around the world.
One needs to essential examination for every
program you apply to. This means you have to take 2 of these tests. IELTS for
one program and TOEFL for another program.
